Bonvanta Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Bonvanta uses cookies and similar technologies on the public bonvanta.com website and on Bonvanta-branded service domains.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, scripts, tags, device identifiers, and session tokens.

These technologies can be used to provide a requested service, keep an account secure, remember preferences, measure website use, and diagnose technical problems.

2. Where this Policy applies

Public website: bonvanta.com and its public marketing pages.

Service domains: Bonvanta-branded admin, scanner, customer loyalty-card, billing, and authentication pages, including subdomains used to provide the Service.

Third-party websites and services have their own cookie practices and policies.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

Bonvanta service domains use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect accounts, prevent fraud, remember essential settings, balance traffic, and provide loyalty-card, scanner, billing, and support functionality.

These technologies are required to provide the service requested by the user and cannot generally be disabled through the Bonvanta cookie banner. They may be session-based or retained for a limited period depending on security and account needs.

Blocking necessary technologies in browser settings may prevent login, card use, scanner operation, billing, or other core functions.

4. Google Analytics on the public website

Bonvanta uses Google Analytics only on the public bonvanta.com website to understand traffic, page performance, referrals, devices, browsers, and general usage patterns.

Google Analytics is not intended to be installed inside the Bonvanta admin dashboard, scanner, or customer loyalty-card pages.

Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga, used to distinguish users, and _ga_<container-id>, used to maintain session state. Google states that the default expiration for these cookies is two years, although browsers, settings, and our configuration may shorten the period.

In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions where consent is required, Google Analytics must remain disabled until the visitor accepts analytics cookies. Bonvanta intends to use a consent banner that provides Accept, Reject, and preference-management options.

5. Cookie summary

Strictly necessary | Bonvanta, PayForSay, authentication, security, and infrastructure providers | Login, sessions, security, fraud prevention, preferences, and service operation | Session or limited duration | Always active where required for the requested service.

Analytics: _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors on the public website | Default up to 2 years | Activated only after consent where required.

Analytics: _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Maintains session state on the public website | Default up to 2 years | Activated only after consent where required.

Bonvanta does not currently use advertising cookies or pixels for targeted advertising on the public website.

6. Your choices

Use the cookie banner or cookie-settings link on the public website to accept, reject, or change non-essential cookie choices.

You can also delete or block cookies through browser settings. Browser controls may affect site functionality.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. After withdrawal, non-essential tags should stop operating and related cookies may be deleted where technically supported.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Bonvanta does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. As a result, a targeted-advertising opt-out is not currently necessary for our stated practices.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based opt-out signal, we will use reasonable measures to honor supported signals. Browser Do Not Track signals do not have a single universal standard and may not affect strictly necessary technologies.

8. Third-party technologies

Google, Apple, Stripe, PayForSay, and other service providers may use technologies necessary to provide their services. Their own policies govern processing they perform as independent controllers.

A Business Customer may link to or use separate websites and tools. Bonvanta is not responsible for cookies set by a Business Customer outside Bonvanta service domains.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, legal requirements, or website features change. The updated Policy will show a new effective date.
